Melrose Park North by Sekisui House has received further recognition with the project shortlisted as a finalist for four property awards.
The first stage, One Melrose has been shortlisted as a finalist in the “Architecture - Multi-Residential, Constructed” category of the Sydney Design Awards.
One Melrose has previously been recognised in the Sydney Design Awards - the Allen Jack + Cottier designed One Melrose buildings won gold in the “Architecture, Proposed Large Site” category.
One Melrose is also a finalist in the Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Awards.
Stage Three of Melrose Park North – Pulse and Pavilion – is also a finalist in the Sydney Design Awards in the “Architecture – Proposed – Multi Residence (10+ Floors)” category.
Stage Four, Melrose Park Village is also nominated in the marketing category for the Sydney Design Awards.
The Sekisui House project, located in the heart of Sydney, just six kilometres east of the Parramatta CBD, also won silver in the World Design Awards in 2020 for Residential Concept for One Melrose.
The award recognises outstanding work that redefines architecture design by the implementation of novel technologies, materials, programs and aesthetics.
Residents moved into One Melrose, which includes 227 apartments across three buildings, late last year.
Boston Marketing Director Rhys Morgan, who is selling the project on behalf of Sekisui House, said One Melrose was setting the standard for apartment living.
“The shortlisting of the project in these awards is further evidence that Melrose Park North is an exceptionally well-designed project which offers residents a modern, convenient and connected lifestyle,” he said.
The second stage of the project, The Residences, will be completed later this year, while work has commenced on Pulse and Pavilion.
Melrose Park Village which includes retail, is proving popular with buyers, with more than 150 apartments selling on the opening day.
